The Dog Days are Over

Florence and the Machine is one of the best new bands of this year, forget that of this past 5 years. Honestly, so talented. I just needed to say it. I'm drinking beer.
T ouT.

Likkle on the Scene

So last night I went out with a best friend of mine, we went to this spot in Boston called District. It's a cute lounge but it also has more of a clubby feel. When we went last time we had balls of fun. Wild'n out with people we didn't know, they weren't even from Boston. This is the excerpt from the site "IN Thursdays -- Young professionals come from in and around the Hub to network before the boys from Nightlife Executives turn down the lights and turn up the music for "IN Thursdays" starting at 10pm every Thursday. Lounge-goers groove to R&B, and hip hop with sophisticated urban flair." Sophisticated Urban flair, really. Hahaha. Anyway we go last night and the shit was Capital W.A.C.K. I was extremely disappointed. I feel bad because a friend of mine promotes the night but he sort of seems out of the loop of the way they do business there. I literally watched them just let in the short dresses, high heels kinda girls with the extravagant weaves and tons of make up. They were literally being selective, which is not a crime but it's sort of rude. So you think that because I'm dressed "this way" I'm a trouble maker? Fuckin Ridiculous (like Kanye says it) Anyway the two of us get in and the girl looking for our names on the guest list is either illiterate or deaf, I think I told her the names about 20 times before she actually found it. Finally we're in the actual lounge area and it's empty. We looked at each other like YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDIN ME. Public relations is a bitch...they had people freezing out in that line to make it seem like the place was poppin. First Mistake. Luckily for us we knew the Dj's YAY. Moving on. Second Flaw, the crowd was nothing but a bunch of wannabe sadiddy ass people with NO manners. Literally just walking through people as if they were a piece of furniture no excuse me no nothing. Everyone was trying to profile. I mean that's great and all but umm try having a little fun. Unfortunately, partial blame is on my DJ friend who played whole songs all night practically no mixing was done. I thought I was going to die. Let's just say bad night overall. OH WAIT THERES MORE. The parking situation is crazzzy. Had to cross the damn highway to get there.lol. Damn Shame. Till Next time. Wait, I don't think there will be a next time. I could have went to my Ex boyfriends party but I thought it would be too crowded which is why I didn't go but damn I should have just dealt with the unmoving packed-ness instead of the spacious, everyone's moving everywhere like they have ants in their pants. Well now I know better. This is Likkle on the scene, signing off.

The Word Vagina

Please excuse the blatant disregard to the fact that word "vagina" is a bit vulgar but I couldn't help myself. This game is too fun! Substitute the word vagina in place of movie names, for example, My big fat vagina wedding. Nightmare on Vagina street. Now get with a group of friends and play this game. It's great.
Live life people.

Down hill Academics

So here I am, just got out a class about 2 hours ago, I get home and instead of opening up my back pack to start my homework I open up my PC! 1st bad move. Then I go to the CW website so I can watch Vampire Diaries online (hey I missed the last episode) don't judge me. Then after that I continue onto facebook then twitter, joonbug and all that other good stuff. When did homework cross my mind you ask? Right when I opened up my blog to talk about how I haven't thought about homework yet. DAMN SHAME. Academics are just rocks in a mudslide. Nothing else will matter in this world but the knowledge of how to use a computer and socialize through this medium but hey I'm only helping make that theory a reality so shame on me and all the other knuckle heads tweeting and wall posting.
GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Smile!

Look for those moments in life that will make you smile. Listen closely to music, find the beauty in your surroundings, listen to the thumping sound of your city or the Serene silence of your town. Grin from ear to ear and make those eyes squint and tear as you laugh all your stress away believe, have faith and face another day.

1st Edition of the L&T of TAD

Here is the start of something big!

I feel like my life could be a sitcom of some sort or a movie, I'd like to think it's somewhat amusing, others may not think the same but hey who cares, this is me. My name is TAD also known as Tanisha Ashanti Dambreville...find me on facebook. My mind is a deep ocean and all the fish and sea monsters are the thoughts that reside there. My first attempt at this blog is to write down interesting ideas and hope that people comment on them in addition I'll also include the dramatics of my life, hence the title. But my goal is to make this fun and interesting. ENJOY!

1st idea: I absolutely love the Bachelor show, can't get enough and this past season with Ali was nail biting up to the last episode, however the wonderfulness would stop because of those darn commercials...ok ok so I'm guessing you want me to cut to the chase right? When commercials would come on ABC I would switch to another channel that had a "good" show running but then when I would flip back to ABC the show would be back (I felt like I missed something). Here is my idea. I think cable companies should include a new feature that will allow folks to set their tv's to a commercial break (turn off) reminder. In other words if your watching a show you really love and you decide to switch to a different channel during those commercial breaks a pop up will appear notifying you that your show is back on! I think that sounds fantastic! Especially if your watching Bachelor or Vampire Diaries...emm emm I love TV!
